My Mom has always had weird food allergies. Over the last 5 years or so they have become life threatening to her. She is so allergic to fruits and veggies she cant even touch them or she gets welts in her mouth and throat to the point of suffocation.
She began seeing a chiropractic physician maybe 3 or 4 months ago because of some other very weird problems, like total numbness in her feet but uncontrollable pain at the same time. Weird I know. Well, the Dr. told here it was all because of her gull bladder, that she doesn't even have any more. So, he put her on some quaky drugs and within two weeks she could feel her feet again. Did I mention the oodles of Dr's she saw and the team of "specialists" from UofM who couldn't help her? So now the "quack Dr.", that is what my family affectionately calls him, wants her to try eating some stuff that would normally kill her. She started with canned pumpkin. I can hardly believe it!! My dad and I sat in the garage, shoes on and epi-pen in hand to see what would happen. Guess what? She had very little reaction!! Praise the LORD!!! The tip of her tung got a little numb and that was all.
Way to go Mom I am soo happy for you!!
