Tyrus is two and a half now. He is so much fun I can hardly stand it.
I just started reading a book today called "Strengths Finder" and it said that a New Zealand study has found that strengths and personality, wait a minute I am going to get the book so I can quote it. I am horrible with words. A compelling 23-yearlong longitudinal study of 1,000 children in New Zealand revealed that a child's observed personality at age 3 shows remarkable similarity to his or her reported personality traits at 26. This got me. Tyrus is almost who he will be for the rest of his life. He has such a vibrant personality. He always want to talk about everything. If you are around him much at all you will hear him say "Mom, talk about it." This is very regular. If he reads a book you must talk about the book afterward. If he sees a commercial, "talk about it." If he gets in trouble you must explain in great detail what happened and sometimes you have to talk about it several times. I am not sure where he would fall in terms of personality but I am sure glad I get to be his mama.
