Well here are two of my brothers, luckily for everyone Ryan wasn't there. Ryan is my very, well, I don't know how to describe him, he is one of a kind and if you don't have a Ryan you should because he is a lot of fun, especially when he does really crazy things.
So, Tim and James decided to make one of those lawn ball games on labor day. They went to Lowe's bought all the stuff and got to work. We all had a lot of fun and then it went Clarke style. The guys climbed up on top of the swing set and started chucking the balls as high into the air as they could to see if they could hit mid air. They never did. They did however get one of the balls stuck in the trees about 30 feet up.
Tim and Paul quickly remember that dad has a tree limber with an extension on it. They know it isn't long enough but they will try it. It is not even close.
Tim goes running off to his truck and comes back with a ladder. Seriously, he just happened to have a ladder on hand. He climbed right up the the very top, I mean the DO NOT STAND on top of the ladder. Still about 6 feet to short.
What do we do now?
Tim knows, park the truck under the tree, put the ladder on top and then climb, with the saw in hand of course.
Mom and I are now moving all of the children out of the way and grabbing our cameras.
Would you believe that it worked and no one got injured?
Remember that we made the set and had all of the equipment in the garage to make another set of balls. But that wouldn't have been nearly as much fun.
