What a precious moment we just had. We pray every night as a family before bed. Sometimes we lead Tyrus in what to say and he repeats us but tonight he started praying on his own. This is a moment that would make any parent proud.
Because of his birthday party James' parents and brother's family have been in town. Jason and Megan and the kids went home tonight and Grandpa Randy and Grandma Terri leave tomorrow. We have spent all of our spare time with them while they are here and Tyrus has had more than his share of fun. Grandma Terri had a box full of cars for the kids to play with and he and Cade have been having all kinds of fun with them.
This brings me back to his prayer. James was thanking God for all of our family members and Tyrus chimed in with "Thank you cars and BIG TRUCKS" "Thank you motorcycles" "Thank you." We smiled and tucked him in with kisses.
As I got onto the blog to tell you all about it I could hear him on the monitor saying "Thank you boppy" "Thank you boppy."
What a good day.
